It was a busy final week for all Year 3’s. Sadly we said farewell to a great friend and classmate, Hayden Mistry. Both Hayden and his sister,
Jessica, have been at Sacred Heart for a number of years and are moving further
up Sydney’s north, taking them closer to home. We wish them and their family
all the very best. Good Luck Hayden. You will be greatly missed.
Last Tuesday afternoon the basketball court was abuzz with
fun and excitement, as we watched the brilliance of the Sydney Kings perform
their magic. Lochie Brown, 3Blue, was lucky enough to be a prize winner of a Kings
basketball. Proudly supporting his win is Harrison, Kaelan and Liam, who cheered
them on with their fabulous posters. Another lucky 3 Blue winner was Isabella Livermore, who won a Kings yellow T-shirt. Not one to miss out is our wonderful leader, Mr Campbell, who joined in to congratulate them all. What a great photo!
To end the week, all Year 3 had fun in visiting the many Expo’s from around the classes. Congratulations to everyone. So inspirational!! Conor and Kaelan were particularly proud of their sibling’s weather inventions when we visited Kindergarten... maybe some very clever meteorologists in the making!!
Thank you to everyone for all your support over the term, in particular the class mums, Chantal, Jacqui and Sally. Wishing everyone a well-earned rest and a safe holiday.
Here's wishing you all the best Hayden!
